Do you sometimes feel like there aren't enough hours in the day to do all of the things that you want to do? Do you wish that you had more time to enjoy arts and culture, but are not sure how? If so, the Museum of Florida History in Tallahassee has started a special program for enthusiastic but time-starved art lovers.
On the fourth Tuesday of the month, the museum hosts a Brown Bag Lunch Series which gives visitors the opportunity to talk to experts, artists and museum staff about the arts from noon to 1 p.m.
Tomorrow, Tuesday, Apr. 28, a guided tour of the design and fabrication centers of the museum will offer a behind-the-scenes look into how things are run.
Next month's series will feature storyteller Butch Harrison who will speak about his upcoming exhibition entitled "Florida Cattle Ranching: Five Centuries of Tradition," so be sure to mark your calendars! To learn more about this series visit www.museumoffloridahistory.com. |
