In my second ecologically minded post this week, I would like to proudly announce that the Treasure Coast is also going green!
Dedicated to fostering Ecoart, "ecological art [that] melds aspects of environmental art, activist art and community engagement art with engineering and science," the The Elliot Museum in Stuart will host the EcoArt Film and Video Festival this Friday and Saturday, Apr. 3-4.
Today, check out the following films followed by a panel discussion:
- “The Indian River Lagoon: Gateway to the Everglades” and “The Reclamation Project” (2 p.m. to 4 p.m.)
- “Ganga from the Ground Up” and “A Gathering of Waters: The Rio Grande, Source to the Sea” (5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.)
On Saturday, April 4, the following films will be featured and followed by a panel discussion:
- "Concrete Creek" and "Nor Any Drop to Drink" (2 p.m. to 4 p.m.)
- "Croaking Frogs: Before It's Too Late" and "Malamp Amphibian Deformity Project" (5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.)
