With a bit of digging, we can probably all find a photo album or two that contains some of the most important moments of our childhood. From a graduation, to a birthday party and even just random moments captured with family and friends, these moments paint a collective portrait of our past.
Now try to imagine what our nation's photo album would look like. From now until April 19, The Flagler Museum in Palm Beach will host a retrospective from the 17th-19th centuries called "A Mother's Pearls." More than 50 works featuring children portraits by artists like John Singleton Copley, Gilbert Stuart and James Abbot McNeill Whistler will be on display.
And possibly the best part of all, access to this exhibition is free with a regular admission. To learn more, visit the museum website at www.flaglermuseum.us. |
