For most, Miami conjures images of the parties, glitz and white sand beaches. This week, classical music lovers should trek over to the little known Miami Beach Botanical Gardens for a dynamic show that aims to add another layer to the city's persona.
On Sunday, March 1, South Beach Chamber Ensemble will challenge the public perception of the South Florida city with their presentation of Music in Beautiful Spaces. Starting at 6 p.m., the concert will feature a "Concert of Piano Trios" by Thomas Moore (violin), Michael Andrews (cello), and Ciro Fodere (piano) all paying homage to the 50th anniversary of the death of great Brazilian composer Villa-Lobos.
Tickets range from $10-15, including a Whole Foods sponsored wine reception. To learn more, call 305-673-2183. |
