There has been a buzz going on in the world music scene about Kodo for a while now. The Japanese Taiko drumming troupe are being credited with exposing national cultural traditions that hail from the most remote of villages. Using massive drums, Kodo invite the world to experience many unique sounds of Japanese percussion. Making awareness a part of life, the disciplined troupe also engage in local projects and even harvest their own rice fields. Talk about going green!
