Classical music enthusiasts would likely be able to discern the name of a popular northern music ensemble from what sounds like a delicious Italian seafood dish. All kidding aside, the globally renowned baroque chamber ensemble Tempesta di Mare are named after a famous Vivaldi concerto and are coming our way!
The Flagler Museum in beautiful Palm Beach will host the final installment of their music series with a riveting March 3 performance by this five piece ensemble hailing from Philadelphia. The chamber music performance will include renditions of:
Trio Sonata in F, Op. 2 No. 4, HWV 389 by George Frideric Handel
Sonata in G Minor, Op. post. No. 2 by William Babell
Variations on La Follia, Op. 5 No. 12 by Arcangelo Corelli
Trio Sonata in B Minor, Op. 2 No. 1, HWV 386(a) by George Frideric Handel
Sonata in F by Rudolph Straube
Highlights from Rinaldo, "Curiously Fitted" by George Frideric Handel
