Florida is home to quite a few national treasures in the arts. Next week you can join me in celebrating notable writer, anthropologist and folklorist Zora Neale Hurston at the Zora Neale Hurston Festival of the Arts & Humanities in Eatonville.
From Jan. 20-25, the town just north of Orlando will feature a series of special events including concerts, readings, conferences and book signings. Check out the full calendar of events.
On Saturday there will be an Outdoor Festival Family Day from 9 a.m .to 5 p.m. for the thousands expected to embark upon the town. Admission for the main festival on Saturday is $10 per person.
