Year after year, approximately 65,000 spectators continue to be in awe of the creations that are formed simply by combining water and the sugar fine white sand from our spectacular beach. Family Beach Walks Every Monday 9 a.m. Free Every Monday the Shell Museum and “Ding” Darling NWR will host a Family Beach Walk. Participants will meet at 9 a.m. at the Gulfside Park/Algiers parking lot. The walk will be led by one of the Museum’s Shell Experts and a “Ding” Darling Refuge Specialist. The entire family will join in the discovery of the wonderful world of mollusks, the shells they produce and the environment that serves as their home. There is no charge for this program. Read Less
