Archaeologists are using 3D scanners and 3D printers in new and exciting ways. Join this Archaeology Café to find out how!The Destination Archaeology Resource Center (DARC) and Ozone Pizza Pub are hosting Archaeology Café on Wednesday, Sept. 18 at 6 p.m. Dr. Kristina Killgrove and Dr. Ramie Gougen, associate professors of anthropology at the University of West Florida, will give a short presentation, titled, “Glasses Optional: Demonstrating the New Wave of 3D Archaeology,” followed by an open discussion.Archaeology Café is held inside Ozone Pizza, located at 1010 N 12th Ave. in Pensacola. It is free and open to the community. Seating is unreserved. Guests are encouraged to support our hosts at Ozone’s by purchasing food and drinks.
