A Day with Mildred Alene Murrell | July 20 2013

Historian and author Mildred Alene Murrell will share memories of life in Jacksonville in the 1920's and beyond, including personal stories of Zora Neale Hurston, African-American life on the Southside, the Great Depression, education and family. Mrs. Murrell will also sell and autograph her new book, "Zora Neale Hurston In and Around Jacksonville, Florida in the 1920's, 1930's and 1940's". This program is free and open to the public.
