Built in the early 20th century as businessman James Deering's winter home, this European-inspired estate features more than 10 acres of formal gardens, terraces and fountains overlooking Biscayne Bay. The gardens feature Renaissance layouts imported from France and Tuscany, but adapted to native plants. The main house is filled with art and furnishings spanning two millennia. Vizcaya is now a National Historic Landmark and considered a must-see museum and national landmark in Miami.
