Tampa's unique Rivergate Tower is the beacon in Tampa's burgeoning downtown arts district. Designed by architect Harry Wolf, the design of the skyscraper itself is based on the Fibonacci Sequence familiar to fans of Dan Brown's 2003 novel The Da Vinci Code. And if architecture's your thing, you'll be fascinated by the nearby University of Tampa's Moorish Revival spires. Take in another treat for the eyes at the Florida Museum of Photographic Arts, or a Broadway show at the nearby Straz Performing Arts Center. If all that makes you hungry, get coffee and a snack at Kahwa Coffee or sit down to something more substantial at local landmark Malio's Prime Steakhouse.
