If your family is like mine, we're always looking for ways to have big fun with the kids while spending very little. So I've compiled this list of my Top Ten for About $10 in Miami

This place was built in 1891 and admission is free for kids six and under. It’s right on Biscayne Bay and kids can learn how pioneer families survived in south Florida. They can also run all over the grounds.

With a historic lighthouse (the oldest structure in Miami) not to mention picnicing swimming and sunning this mile of beach is tops with families. It's also the #8 beach in America for 2012. Admission is $8 per vehicle (up to 8 people).

Coral Castle

It’s one of the world’s most fascinating unsolved mysteries. Seriously it is. Can your kids figure out how Ed built this place by himself? Adults are $9.75 kids (7-12) $5 six and under are free. (Insider tip: have lunch at Shiver’s BBQ just a few blocks away on US1 and SW 280th Street.)

Everglades National Park

This National Park is a World Heritage Site and there is no place like it in the entire U.S.  Haven't been yet? You've got to go. Vehicle fee is $10 – and it’s good for seven consecutive days.

Meander down fabulously shaded paths of their historical botanical gardens on your way to the petting zoo Splash 'N' Play water playground butterfly exhibit and playground.
