Ride the Haunted Tram at Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park

Looking for some good family fun this Halloween? Head over to Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park on Oct. 26 and 27 and ride the Haunted Tram down the Pepper Creek Trail. Wooooo! That's a ghost, just in case you couldn't tell.

The rides start at 6 p.m. on both days and ends at 11 p.m. So, here's how the spooky ride down the Pepper Creek Trail works - local businesses and organizations are set up along the trail with their own decorated section. Each spot will be judged for awards. In addition to the Haunted Tram, there will costume contests, clowns (no clowns for me, thank you very much) and other family-friendly Halloween fun.

There is a suggested donation for the tram ride of $5 for adults and $3 for kids up to age 12. This is a big event, drawing thousands to the park on both days. There will also be live music and refreshments during the event. For more information, call Tricia Fowler or Susan Strawbridge at (352) 628-5343.
