Whew! I've been out and about doing some work on a video project in Citrus, Hernando and Pasco counties this past week, and am finally sitting down to start putting things together. One of the highlights was this incredible sunset in Ozello, which brought out crowds of folks to watch the show.
One sunset-watcher in attendance mentioned that he comes out every Sunday, and it's pretty obvious what keeps him coming back. I've seen some pretty sweet sunsets all around the state (see my post on where to see a great sunset), but this particular one ranks up there with the best of them.
Ozello is located between Crystal River and Homosassa. Turn off U.S. 19 at C.R. 494, and meander back nine miles to Peck's Old Port Cove. Grab a bite to eat at Peck's, and then walk out and watch the go down. Good times.
When I'm out traveling around, you can always get a look at what I'm up to while it happens on the VISIT FLORIDA Outdoors and Nature Facebook page. Stop by and let me know about your favorite places to visit in Florida!
