It's time for another installment of "Where to Shop" and this week the spotlight is on locally-owned Tampa Bay Outfitters in Tampa.
The store opened in 2003, expanded in 2008, and is Tampa's source for adventure clothing and gear. I stumbled upon the store while visiting a nearby spot for lunch and was immediately impressed with its large selection of clothing, footwear, travel gear and backpacking equipment.
They carry tons of top adventure brands for both men and women, including Patagonia, Exofficio, The North Face, Arc'teryx, Mountain Hardwear and footwear to match, such as Reefs. Just being in the store made me want to set out on adventure of my own!
At Tampa Bay Outfitters, it is their goal to "combine great products with friendly, knowledgeable service to get you appropriately outfitted for any adventure you seek." Check them out the next time you're in town.
Tampa Bay Outfitters is located on the corner of South Howard and Swann in the heart of the Soho district (same building as Panera Bread).
