If you've never experienced the pristine and unspoiled Rookery Bay on Florida's Gulf Coast, you're missing out.
But there's good news: I'm going to tell you about a great way to get acquainted with Rookery Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve, which is home to 150 species of birds and countless other wild animals.
Guided kayak tours of the bay and mangrove tunnels are being offered through April. Through the month of December, the trips will take place on Fridays from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. From January through April, trips will be from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Tuesday through Friday.
