Dalia's note: If you've been following this blog, you know I'm pregnant and ready to pop any minute now. (You can check out baby bump photos on my Facebook page.) While my parents are in town from Ohio awaiting little Norah's arrival, they've been cooking, cleaning and assembling baby equipment nonstop. So earlier this week, I insisted they take a day off. Here's my dad, who's no stranger to guest-blogging, to tell you how they spent their afternoon. He'll be back later to tell you about their evening of free fun. Now, Daddy, take it away...
A Low-Cost Way to Experience Florida's Nature Live and Up Close
By Fred Wheatt
For about three bucks per adult and a buck and a half for kids 3 to 16, you can experience what Florida's natural setting is like. Live and upclose, my wife and I experienced gators, snakes, turtles and a gazillion birds, trees and other plants.
It'll take about two or three hours to walk through and check it all out. If you don't want to walk, they even have a one-hour tram tour for two bucks more. This is a low-cost no-brainer to experience Florida's natural environments.
