Looking for some outdoorsy activities in Central Florida? Don't miss Polk County's Naturefest, which happens Oct. 6-9. Plenty of guided excursions around Polk County are planned, with the event hub being Circle B Bar Reserve.
The last day to register was Monday, but you can still participate in available outings by stopping by the Polk County Nature Discovery Center at Circle B Bar Reserve and signing up in person. There are lots of terrific excursions during the event from photography outings, a behind the scenes tour at Bok Tower Gardens, airboat tours, kayaking trips and much more. There's even a video page discussing some of the scheduled excursions, so make sure to check that out.
