How’d you like a bird’s eye view of crocodiles, alligators and other creatures? Beginning in March, you can zip through the air over live crocs and gators at "Crocodile Crossing," the newest attraction at St. Augustine’s Alligator Farm Zoological Park.
This is an aerial eco-adventure like nothing else the state of Florida has ever seen! Crocodile Crossing will feature 50 tree-top platforms and a secure cable system that will let you “zip” from tree to tree and encounter aerial obstacles including tightropes, cargo nets and teeter-totters. Don't close your eyes because you'll be able to look down and see creatures big and small – you’ll even zip right over the zoo’s behind-the-scene scenes! Watch a video about it now!
All ages are welcome to experience the thrills, and fitness level doesn’t matter, but it’s definitely a heart-pounding adventure so if you’re not brave or adventurous, well, you might want to leave the zipping to your Tarzan-wanna-be companions.
What Else Can I See There?
The St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park is the only place in the world where you can see EVERY species of alligator, crocodile, caiman and gharial. Your kids will love this place, even if they don't try ziplining. They have all kinds of wildlife and natural exhibits!.And ironically, it's a great place to go bird watching. No kidding!
