Kayak the Ochlockonee River with Paddle Florida on March 12-18

Spend six days with the Paddle Florida group and kayak the scenic Ochlockonee River on March 12-18. Folks, the weather is just beautiful, and a paddle trip like this is an awesome way to get outside and enjoy it!

The event will take place on a section of the Ochlockonee River Paddling Trail, and starts west of Tallahassee near State 20, where you'll kayak through the Apalachicola National Forest - trust me, this is a trip you won't want to miss! The total trip mileage is 76 miles, and you'll end up at Bald Point State Park.

What's to say, really? Paddle Florida trips rock - my three days on the Peace River were terrific (blog post here), and I plan on joining up with the group again on the Suwannee River. A lot of the folks on the trip return time and time again, and it's a great way to make new kayaking pals. Bill Richards and his crew do an excellent job of organizing, shuttling, and making sure everyone is well-fed and happy! There's great live entertainment and catered meals in the evenings - a welcome sight after a day on the water. Again, sign up for a Paddle Florida trip - you'll thank me for it!
