Trail Tuesday: Take a Hike at Lake County's Hidden Waters Preserve

ADD TO FAVORITES

If you haven't spent time at Hidden Waters Preserve in Eustis, now is a good time! At Hidden Waters, you'll find two awesome trails that are perfect for hiking, trail running and birding. This 90-acre property has excellent features – unique elevation, different habitats and a huge sink that contains Lake Alfred. Folks, this is a really neat place.

Leaving the trailhead, you'll follow the Lake Alfred Trail as you work your way down toward the sink. The marshy areas around the sink makes for good birding, so you might want to bring along your binoculars and cameras for this hike.
