Whooping Crane Flyover Update

ADD TO FAVORITES

I just got word that the whooping crane flyover events will be going on very, very soon!

The group of ten whooping cranes will be split in two - five going to the St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge, and the other five heading to the Chassahowitzka National Wildlife Refuge. A Tuesday or Wednesday flyover event is highly possible, and there's also the possibility of both events at St. Marks and at the Dunnellon Airport happening on the same day.

Information is changing constantly - those interested in the flyover events are welcome to call the Chassahowitzka National Wildlife Refuge at 352-563-2088, and you can always keep a watch on the "In the Field" section of the Operation Migration website.
