TPC Tampa: Making Memories

What is it about the changing colors of the trees that makes us so nostalgic? When fall rolls around, some people might think of pumpkin-spiced lattes, but I always think of late-evening golf rounds with my family. It's the perfect time of year to make memories that will last a lifetime.

If you're looking for a course to strengthen the bond with your family, TPC Tampa Bay is the place. Peak season rounds can cost $160, but starting Sept. 21, you can play for $80 after 3 p.m. Even better, it will only cost $20 for juniors. 

Some of my fondest memories from my youth are playing golf with my dad after school. I can remember playing until dark on the crisp fall evenings, and then going out to dinner afterward to boast about our great shots and laugh at our not-so-great ones. 

The 18-hole, par-71 TPC Tampa Bay course was designed by Bobby Weed and Chi Chi Rodriguez. It was designed not only to challenge the top golfers of the world, but also to provide a challenging and fun experience for players of all abilities.

The course gives players the opportunity to play well within their game, with a variety of teeing areas that allow it to be played from 5,036 yards from the forward tees to 6,898 yards from the championship tees.

Although he out-drove me, TPC Tampa Bay's variety of teeing ground would have been a great spot to challenge my dad for a match! I always took our bets very seriously, but in reality, he would always take me for ice cream no matter what.
