We recently finished up the PGA’s Florida swing of tournaments at some of the longest golf courses you can find in the state. PGA National, Trump National Doral, Innisbrook, and Bay Hill played over 7,000 yards for the professionals. This got me thinking… where is the longest single hole in Florida?

Springlake Golf Resort in Sebring is famous for its 800-yard, PAR 6. Located on their Panther Creek Championship Links Course, this hole will require the typical golfer to go driver, 3 wood, 3 wood, 7 iron, keeping in mind the water down the left side.

Not all of the holes at Spring lake Golf Florida are as challenging as the par 6. The back tees on the Panther Course will barely stretch over 7,000 yards, and the regular tees play 6,080 yards. This course also features a par-3 island green.

Cougar Trail is the other course at Spring lake Golf Florida, and this course is home to the World’s Largest Green which is over 47,000 square feet and is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records. Hitting this green in regulation couldn’t get any easier, just see if you can one-putt it!

If you go…

100 Clubhouse Lane

Hit ‘em straight!
