If you're looking for a unique experience during your visit to the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, sign up for the daily‘Lunch with an Astronaut’ encounter.
This 90-minute encounter at the Space Center in Cape Canaveral features a buffet-style lunch along with a personalized presentation from one of NASA’s acclaimed astronauts.
At the end of the event, there's a brief question-and-answer session, plus time for family photos with the astronaut.
Astronauts describe what it's like to live in space – eating, exercising, sleeping and training. No topic is off-limits.
There's no age requirement for this experience, and it's perfect for self-proclaimed ‘space geeks’.
Here are some helpful things to know about Lunch with an Astronaut:

Meeting an astronaut was really a treat; I was just as excited as my kids. We enjoyed learning about space travel and what it takes to become an astronaut.
There’s no better way to learn than from someone who has experienced it all first-hand -- and we loved it.
Insider Tip: Purchase your tickets in advance online; you’ll save time and bypass those standing in line at the entrance, too.
