In 1902, Standard Oil partner Henry Flagler built his Gilded Age estate, Whitehall, in Palm Beach. Today, Whitehall is preserved as the Flagler Museum. A 1902 article published in the New York Herald proclaimed Whitehall as, "more wonderful that any palace in Europe, grander and more magnificent than any other private dwelling in the world." This National Historic Landmark's breathtaking interiors are sure to inspire and impress.
