Florida Disabled Outdoors Association enriches lives through accessible inclusive recreation. Programs include:
SportsAbility - Provides first hand access to resources and demonstrations of activities designed to encourage participation regardless of age or ability level. Try everything from sit water-skiing, kayaking, martial arts and more at no charge to participants. People with disabilities, families, recreation providers, healthcare professionals and public welcome!
ALLOUT – An outdoor adventure program for people with disabilities that includes the mobility impaired hunting program, which is the benchmark for mobility-impaired hunts throughout the United States, and a variety of other outdoor adventure trips.
Community-based Therapeutic Recreation – This program provides education & resource referral programs to assist people with brain and spinal cord injuries in benefitting from active leisure.
Recreational Activity Program for Adults with Disabilities – Participants respond to a needs-assessment designed to assist the individual in reaching their personal active leisure goals.
Miracle Sports – A program where everyone plays team sports in an inclusive recreation environment and any reasonable accommodations needed are made to ensure the safety and full participation of each athlete.
