Perdido Key Oktoberfest

Perdido Key Pirate Festival

Ahoy mateys! It’s the second annual Perdido Key Pirate Festival, a weekend of fun for pirates of all ages at Big Lagoon State Park. Activities include treasure hunts for pirate coins and a grand prize treasure chest loaded with a vacation package that includes lodging and gift certificates to area attractions and restaurants. Festivities include pirate games, live “sea-faring” music, storytelling, face painting, arts and crafts vendors and more. Admission is free to attend with paid admission to Big Lagoon State Park ($4-6).


Frank Brown International Songwriters Festival

The granddaddy of Gulf Coast songwriters festivals is the Frank Brown International Songwriters Festival, named in honor of a former night watchman at Flora-Bama Lounge in Perdido Key. The 30th annual fest will present scores of performances at venues in Perdido Key, Pensacola and beyond Nov. 6-16. Many are free, with small cover charges at others.
