Under the Sea Mermaid Costume Contest

A contest of fun and imagination at the Shoppes at Seaside Station. The mermaid costume contest will be open to all ages with several categories: Best Youth Costume, Best Individual Costume, Best Homemade Costume, and Best Mermaid Tail. Judging starts at 4:30. Sand Art Festival

With sand so fine, it squeaks when you walk on it and beautiful clear water, it is the ideal combination for a fun, creative day of sandy shenanigans! New Smyrna-Ween Spooktacular Surfari Surf & SUP Contest

Catch a wave at this always-radical family-friendly amateur surfing event on the beach at the Flagler Avenue Beach approach! The spirit of this safe event is fun and beginners are welcome. This event features a costume division. It's free to enter as long as you're in costume. Winners are judged on their costumes and have to ride at least one wave during the heat. Winners receive $100 and generate plenty of laughs. Entry fees are $25 for one division and $10 for each additional division entered. All competitors get a free contest t-shirt and top finishers receive hand made wooden trophies.

Michelob Cup Race and Regatta

Port Orange Lighthouse Half Marathon & 5K

NSB Halloween Parade and Costume Contest

The 40th Annual Halloween Parade and Costume Contest will begin at the corner of Orange Street and Canal Street and will proceed east down Canal Street to the Chamber of Commerce parking lot.
