Flamingo 5K Beach Run

The 5K beach run will take place at the Flagler Avenue Beach approach. Participants will receive a free t-shirt. In keeping with the key “unlocking the beach” theme – participants will also receive a key on a necklace. After the race, participants will be able to try their key and see if it unlocks the security chain on any of 10 new beach cruiser bikes. Participants with keys that unlock a bike – win the bike! Separately 84 medals and two over-all winner plaques will be given out after the race. Flamingo Flop

Our very own version of the Polar Bear Plunge with a Florida twist will take place Thursday January 1st on the beach at the Flagler Avenue Beach Approach at 10am. The first 300 participants will be given a free flamingo item (like a hat or glasses). Also, the “flop” area will be designated by inflatable flamingos.
