Krewe of Wrecks Mardi Gras Parade

Mardi Gras parade with an island atmosphere! The Krewe of Wrecks Parade will have the best floats throwing beads, candy and doubloons. No one leaves the island beadless! After parade parties are everywhere and the biggest is on the boardwalk, at the shell, where the paraders wait for the results of the judges and trophies to be awarded. Smokin' In The Square BBQ Cookoff

Friday, noon - 9 p.m.| Saturday, 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. Professional barbecue teams from around the U.S. will gather to compete at the first barbecue contest locally to be sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbecue Society (KSBS). Professional teams will be competing for prize money and points. Local barbecue enthusiasts also will be competing for prize money and bragging rights in the Backyard competition. Great family fun, entertainment, and food. Proceeds go to local charities.

Pensacola JazzFest

Annual Interstate Mullet Toss

Perdido Key's Flora-Bama Lounge hosts this wacky annual tournament that has participants compete in tossing an actual mullet across state lines. A Mullet Toss consists of individuals on the beach throwing a mullet, from a 10-foot circle in Alabama across the state line into Florida. Not to mention a great excuse to throw a weekend long party, with lots of fun activities, great music and food!

32nd Annual Pensacola Crawfish Festival

The Pensacola Crawfish Festival presented by Coastal Bank and Trust will bring a taste of Louisiana right here to Pensacola Bay with a wide variety of Cajun fare such as crawfish poboys, crawfish pies, and over 16,000 pounds of boiled crawfish. Sertoma's 4th of July Celebration

For the 28th year, area Sertoma organizations are coordinating and hosting the largest Fireworks display on the Gulf Coast over Pensacola Bay at 9:00 pm. There will be activities throughout the day, from 11:00 am until 6:00 pm, in Seville Square to include a FREE Children’s Area with inflatables, pony rides, rock climbing wall, “meet and greet” with characters, face painting, Lowe’s kid’s clinic and much more! Great Gulfcoast Arts Festival

November 03, 2017 - November 05, 2017
The three-day, juried art show draws more than 200 of the nation's best painters, potters, sculptors, jewelers, graphic artists, craftsmen and other artists. The event features live musicians in Fountain Park with sounds ranging from Zydeco, bluegrass, jazz and blues to classical. Local dance schools and groups perform daily. The Children's Arts Festival is next door in Bartram Park, featuring numerous hands-on artistic opportunities provided free of charge. The Children's Festival is open Friday for children with special needs from selected schools and is open to everyone on Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
