Heidi's Jazz Club has been the number one hangout for jazz lovers and jazz musicians on Florida's Space Coast since Heidi and Eddie opened the club in 1992. They feature live music every Tuesday through Sunday with featured performers on selected Friday and Saturday evenings and Heidi's Open Jam Session every Sunday evening starting at 7 PM.

Every third Saturday of the month, the City of Palm Bay hosts The Palm Bay Skate Jam at Liberty Park located at 895 Carlyle Avenue SE in Palm Bay, Florida. This FREE event is family friendly and a fun night for all. Bring your own skates, since supply is limited.
See Florida wildlife up close with Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge volunteer as your guide! This three hour driving tour in the refuge shuttle bus will give you the opportunity to learn about refuge wildlife, plants and resource management. Every third Saturday of the month, the City of Palm Bay hosts the Concert in the Park, a series of concerts featuring various musical genres. These free concerts are held in Goode Park, 1300 Bianca Dr NE.
Every Wednesday, the Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge hosts a Manatee Watch from 1-3pm. Join volunteers at the Manatee Observation Deck to learn about the endangered manatee and possibly observe one in the wild. This program is weather dependent. The observation deck is located on SR 3 at Haulover Canal. No reservations needed.
Come and explore a piece of Florida Space Coast's past at the 1875 Sams Family Cabin and the 1888 Sams House located on Pine Island in Merritt Island, Florida. Every Thursday of the month, the site opens its doors to the general public with a free guided tour of the grounds!
The Ruth Funk Center presents over forty examples of contemporary wearable art by artists Ann Clarke, Marina Dempster, Kerr Grabowski and Center namesake and benefactor Ruth Funk in Embellished: A Celebration of Wearable Art. Works on display will highlight the diversity of the wearable art movement and emphasize the innovation of surface design.
Space Coast Symphony will open their 2014-2015 season with Brahms Three. Three monumental works will be highlight in one concert: Richard Wagner's Overture to The Flying Dutchman, Beethoven’s captivating and lyrical Violin Concerto, and Brahms Symphony No. 3.
The U.S.A. Beach Running Championships will be held on November 2, 2014 in iconic Cocoa Beach at the Cocoa Beach Pier! Hundreds of runners from all over the United States and Florida will come to compete in a half-marathon and 10k run. Shoes are optional!

Forever Florida EcoSafari is offering a three-hour trail ride through the swamps, forests, sloughs and creeks of their amazing preserve. All you have to do is bring your own horse! Spend the morning enjoying the scenery, wildflowers and wildlife and serenity of a cool Florida morning on your favorite steed. Riders (and horses) should arrive by 7:30 a.m. ,must have proof of a negative Coggins test. No studs allowed. Your participation will benefit the Allen Broussard Conservancy.

Space Coast Symphony will honor our men and women in uniform, their families at home, and those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country, with a free Veterans Day Concert. Concert-goers can expect to hear rousing marches by John Philip Sousa along with works by John Williams and other American composers. Also on the program, Battle Hymn of the Republic and Hymn to the Fallen from the film, “Saving Private Ryan."
The world's only galeón class vessel, El Galeón Andalucía, will be docked in the Cove at Port Canaveral, Florida from November 14-30, 2014. The ship will be open to visitors every day at specified hours. On weekends from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm and weekdays from 12:00 noon until 6:00 pm except Thanksgiving Day.

The Space Coast Art Festival is one of the premiere art shows in the Southeast. The show not only draws some of the finest artisans in the nation, but thousands of attendees over the festivals two-days.
The Space Coast Marathon just gets bigger and better! This space-themed USTA marathon is ran on one of a beautiful, scenic course located along the banks of the Indian River Lagoon. Featuring 14 space-aid stations, the Space Coast Marathon is a Boston Marathon qualifier and attracts thousands of runners from around the world.

Jump into the holiday season Florida-Cracker style with the ever popular Fort Christmas Cracker Christmas slated every first weekend in December! Entrance is free as is parking. Enjoy great southern food, pioneer demonstrations (i.e, broom making, blacksmiths, basket weaving, rope making, spinning, quilting, lace making, and wood carving). Even Santa Claus will make an appearance from 1pm - 3pm both days!.
A large craft fair featuring over 150 crafters with handmade items will also be on hand.
The Space Coast Symphony will present the Seventh Annual Messiah Sing Along, the enduring Christmas oratorio by George Friedrich Handel on Friday, December 12th. Hailed as the “ultimate Christmas concert,” and an annual sellout, this concert is a don’t miss!
The Brevard Zoo will celebrate Jolly Days from December 20-23! Get into the holiday spirit as zoo keepers give gifts (animal enrichments) to the animals. In addition, there will be visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus from 9 to 11 a.m. on December 20 and from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Arts and Crafts and games will also fill the schedule.
All activities are free with Zoo admission.
Kids can ring in the New Year at the Brevard Zoo as they host a New Year's Eve Masquerade Party on December 31st. Geared for children ages 7-12, this wild overnight adventure includes a night in the Zoo, animal encounters, games, crafts, a guided Zoo Safari, pizza and a continental breakfast.
Ring in the New Year with the Brevard Zoo on Wednesday, December 31 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Kids will be treated to arts and crafts and games in Paws On and the Wildlife Detective Training Academy. For kids who might not be able to stay awake until midnight, join us at noon at the Paws On stage for a juice toast to ring in 2015 early.

18th Annual Space Coast Birding and Wildlife Festival

The 18th Annual Space Coast Birding and Wildlife Festival is scheduled for January 21-26, 2015. The featured bird of the 2015 festival is the Red-cockcaded Woodpecker - an endangered species that makes its home in mature pine forests. Classroom presentations and field trips will introduce you to these interesting birds that have an ecological niche in the life of our pine forests.
The TiCo Warbird AirShow will be a special salute to all Vietnam Veterans on March 13 - 15, 2015. The show will feature special Vietnam war planes and helicopters from the era and even a reenactment paratroop.
This annual three day event highlights military aviation and features some of the most famous trainer, transport, fighter and bomber aircraft that flew in combat around the world.

The Easter Surfing Festival will take place from April 3-5, 2015! This popular surfing festival attracts hundreds of thousands of spectators to the shores of iconic Cocoa Beach, Florida for sun, fun and head-to-head surfing competitions.

Melbourne Art Festival

The Melbourne Art Festival is held the last weekend in April in Downtown Melbourne, Florida. This nationally recognized event is a popular event that attracts arts enthusiasts around the state. More than one hundred and fifty artisans participate every year. The weekend will feature the Flamingo 5K run, several interactive workshops, a kids zone, live entertainment and the opportunity to buy art.
Take a guided walk with a Sebastian Inlet Park ranger and discover Florida’s giant sea turtles and maybe see a nesting Loggerhead sea turtle.

The NKF Rich Salick Pro Am Surf Festival is a four day competition scheduled Labor Day Weekend in Cocoa Beach, FL. Hailed as the largest charity surfing event in the country, actitvities include head-to-head surfing competitions, street parties, bikini contests, and more. Admission is free for the general public.
