Heidi's Jazz Club has been the number one hangout for jazz lovers and jazz musicians on Florida's Space Coast since Heidi and Eddie opened the club in 1992. They feature live music every Tuesday through Sunday with featured performers on selected Friday and Saturday evenings and Heidi's Open Jam Session every Sunday evening starting at 7 PM.
Every third Saturday of the month, the City of Palm Bay hosts the Concert in the Park, a series of concerts featuring various musical genres. These free concerts are held in Goode Park, 1300 Bianca Dr NE.
Every Wednesday, the Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge hosts a Manatee Watch from 1-3pm. Join volunteers at the Manatee Observation Deck to learn about the endangered manatee and possibly observe one in the wild. This program is weather dependent. The observation deck is located on SR 3 at Haulover Canal. No reservations needed.
Come and explore a piece of Florida Space Coast's past at the 1875 Sams Family Cabin and the 1888 Sams House located on Pine Island in Merritt Island, Florida. Every Thursday of the month, the site opens its doors to the general public with a free guided tour of the grounds!
Hosted by the Eau Gallie Arts District, First Friday Art Walk invites everyone out to a plein-air celebration of art, music and food. Every Saturday from 9am to noon, the Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge hosts a Nature Driving Tour. See Florida wildlife up close with a MIWR volunteer as your guide! This three hour driving tour in the refuge shuttle bus will give you the opportunity to learn about refuge wildlife, plants and resource management. The Ruth Funk Center for Textile Arts, with its substantial collection of international textiles, has loaned an array of artfully designed kimono including a number featuring the yuzen (paste resist) dyeing method. The Foosaner Art Museum proudly presents the Ukiyo-e to Shin Hanga: Japanese Woodcuts from the Syracuse University Art Collection featuring over 300 pieces. The 40 prints on view date from the height of color ukiyo-e printmaking (c1780–1868) through Japan’s Meiji period (1868-1912) to twentieth century impressions of the Shin Hanga movement (1915–1940s). Masters of this medium are represented, including the work of Utamaro, Kuniyoshi, Hokusai, Hiroshida, Tsuchiya Koitsu and Yoshida Hiroshi.
This exhibition is organized by the Syracuse University Art Galleries.
Ruth Funk Center for Textile Arts presents SOUTHERN ACCENTS, a juried quilt exhibit featuring work submitted by Studio Art Quilt Associates (SAQA) members living in the Southeast. Quilts are to be inspired by living in the Southeast. Admission to the museum is free.

The 5th annual Cocoa Village BBQ and BLUES Festival will be held the first weekend in June on the edge of the beautiful Indian River Lagoon. The NKF Rich Salick Pro Am Surf Festival is a four day competition scheduled Labor Day Weekend in Cocoa Beach, FL. Hailed as the largest charity surfing event in the country, actitvities include head-to-head surfing competitions, street parties, bikini contests, and more. Admission is free for the general public.
ArtWorks of Eau Gallie Fine Arts Festival is a ''plein-air'' show in Melbourne, FL which takes place in the historic district of Eau Gallie. The Space Coast Art Festival is one of the premiere art shows in the Southeast. The show not only draws some of the finest artisans in the nation, but thousands of attendees over the festivals two-days.
The Space Coast Marathon just gets bigger and better! This space-themed USTA marathon is ran on one of a beautiful, scenic course located along the banks of the Indian River Lagoon. Featuring 14 space-aid stations, the Space Coast Marathon is a Boston Marathon qualifier and attracts thousands of runners from around the world.

Fellsmere Frog Leg Festival is fun for the entire family! The main feature is of course, the mouthwatering frog leg and gator tail dinners, but the festival also boasts a huge variety of other tasty foods to choose from like hamburgers, hotdogs, pizza, fried dough, candy apples, popcorn and more.
There's also a midway featuring traditional carnival rides and games of skill. FREE shuttle bus that will take you from Mesa Park to the festival.

St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church will host one of the Space Coast's most popular cultural festivals, the 44th Annual TASTE OF GREECE, February 19-21, 2016. Festival goers can expect ethnic foods, live music, dancing, tours of the church and more.
