Paddling the native water trails in the Cedar Keys is a rare experience in our State with over 1600 miles of coastline. Kayak Tom, as customers affectionately refer to him, has a wealth of knowledge of the area surrounding Cedar Key and is happy to share this with you. Along with safety instructions and paddling basics to get you started, he is able to share valuable information to find beautiful wading and shore birds. Also, a wide variety of vines, flowers and trees make each "key" unique. Some are so small, they are underwater at high tide. He will suggest destinations according to what each customer wants to see. We moved to Cedar Key 18 years ago and there has not been a moment of regret. This is one of the last unoccupied coastlines of Florida with the largest aquatic preserve on our western shores in the Heart of the Nature Coast.
