American Indian Arts Celebration (AIAC)

This November 6-7, 2015 the Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Seminole Indian Museum hosts their annual American Indian Arts Celebration (AIAC) on the museum grounds at the Big Cypress Seminole Indian Reservation. The festival has become widely regarded as an indigenous cultural explosion in the Everglades and grows in attendance from year to year. Along with the Native American Dance, Music, Arts and Culture, festival goers enjoy Wildlife Shows and a wide variety of Native American Vendors. The rich blue skies, the verdant fields and the miles of cypress hammocks and cattle prairie provide the ultimate setting for this amazing celebration of arts, dance, culture and music. Festival admission is $10 for adults, $7.50 for seniors and $7.50 for children 6-18; children 5 and under are free. Admission includes free parking and entrance to our award-winning, Smithsonian Affiliate museum. The Museum's special exhibits during the event include "Guy LaBree: Painted Stories of the Seminoles" and "It's Not a Costume: Modern Seminole Patchwork". Our Museum beautiful boardwalk is wheelchair accessible and features over 50 cultural, plant and animals markers as well as places to rest and learn along the way.
