The Vero Beach Art Club is a non-profit organization which has been established for over 75 years and is a group which not only cultivates art education among its members but also holds sixteen free events per year in the community.
The 30 year old Art in the Park exhibit offers 11 shows throughout the winter/spring season on Ocean Drive and are considered a great way to walk off a Sunday brunch along the Humiston Park promenade on a sunny Sunday afternoon. The 60+ year old Under the Oaks Fine Art & Craft Show is the largest event and is a juried fine art show which brings artists to exhibit their work from around the United States, Canada and abroad. Over 80,000 people attend this show which has been voted one of the best in the state and in the top 100 in the US. This show is held for three days in March (upcoming March 8-10, 2013) and is a true artist originals only show.
Nestled between the Vero Beach Museum of Art and the Riverside Theatre in Riverside Park, this art festival has visitors come from every corner to enjoy the river breezes, cool shade from the majestic oaks and some of the most talented artists in the country. Riverside Park is located on the beachside Barrier Island just blocks from Ocean Drive near elegant beachside shopping, beautiful hotels and incredible dining cafes and restaurants. It is also located close to the mainland Historic Downtown Art & Antique District and other affordable hotels and enticing restaurants of all kinds. Follow the exit from the Florda Turnpike or I-95 Vero Beach exits east all the way until you go over the Barber Bridge and the event will be located just east of the bridge.
All of the events by the Art Club are open and free to the public other than Art Trail which is a ticketed fundraising event held in December. To view any of our events, please visit www.VeroBeachArtClub.org or call 772-231-0303 for details.
