Taste of DeLand

January 21, 2017
Brace your taste buds for the Taste of DeLand on Saturday, January 21. Local Restaurants will serve up their specialties from 1pm-4pm on West Indiana Avenue. Funds raised benefit the MainStreet DeLand Association, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Tickets are $20 in advance & $25 at the event and include 20 tastings. Children ages 5-10 are $7 and include 10 tastings. Reserve tickets online at No pets please. Service dogs permitted.


DeLand Bike Rally

Motorcycles line the streets of Downtown DeLand for one of the most popular bike rallies in the area. Enjoy bike parking on the streets of beautiful historic downtown DeLand, live music, vendors, a beer garden and merchant specials in the downtown shops and restaurants.


Florida Wildflower & Garden Festival

March 25, 2017
MainStreet DeLand's annual Florida Wildflower & Garden Festival gets underway at 9 a.m. March 25 with unique vendors, zoo animals, children's activities, and presentations and demonstrations by wildflower and gardening experts. Vendors lining downtown's West Indiana Avenue will offer garden- and nature-related items, including wildflower seeds, plants, honey, yard art and planters, photos and books. Organizations such as the Florida Wildflower Foundation, UF-IFAS Master Gardeners and the Florida Native Plant Society will hand out free information and educational materials, and the Central Florida Zoo will have live animals on hand. Children' ...Read More>> art activities will be led by the Museum of Art - DeLand. Gardening and wildflower-related presentations will be featured from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Athens Theater, 124 N. Florida Ave., adjoining West Indiana Avenue. There also will be hands-on workshops at Chess Park A free shuttle with run throughout the day between the Wildflower & Garden Festival and the DeLand Outdoor Art Festival at nearby Earl Brown Park, which will feature 150 booths.
