The Outback Bowl is a college football bowl game, typically played on New Year's Day, matching teams from the Big Ten Conference and Southeastern Conference.  The game recently celebrated its 30th anniversary in Tampa Bay.  A week of fun events and festivities precedes the bowl game offering fans numerous opportunities to experience area amenities and the pageantry of the game.

Outback Bowl Clearwater Beach Day

December 30, 2016
The Outback Bowl presents Clearwater Beach Day at the Hilton Clearwater Beach featuring live music, skydivers, and performances by the marching bands and cheerleaders of the colleges participating in the Outback Bowl. There will also be a tug of war between the cheerleader squads, a pie eating contest, appearances by the football players and more. Join us for all the fun!

Outback Bowl New Year's Eve Parade

December 31, 2016
Outback Bowl New Year's Eve Parade in historic Ybor City district of Tampa featuring floats and marching bands from the participating universities from the game along with about fifteen high school marching bands from around the country. The Parade is immediately followed by a pep rally with the college bands and cheerleaders.

The Outback Bowl is a college football game in Tampa matching teams from the SEC and Big Ten Conference. The game is played in Raymond James Stadium. Kickoff for this year's game is at 12:00 p.m. January 2, 2017. Fans can enjoy numerous free events during the week prior to the Bowl including Clearwater Beach Day and our New Year's Eve Parade in historic Ybor City near downtown Tampa.
