Paddle Florida, Inc. is a non-profit organization that seeks to promote awareness of water conservation, wildlife preservation, springs restoration, and waterways protection in Florida. To fulfill this mission, we stage annual multi-day paddling trips in each of Florida's five water management districts. We seek to instill a 'water ethic' by showcasing Florida's vulnerable waterways. We hope that those who attend our events will come away with a deeper appreciation of our natural resources.
Established in 2007, we hosted our first trip on the Suwannee River Wilderness Trail in March 2008. Since that time, we have expanded to host events on the Withlacoochee, Peace, Wekiva, St. Johns, and Ochlockonee Rivers, as well as the coastal waterways of the Florida Keys and the Calusa Blueway in southwest Florida.
