Paddle Florida

Seaworld Orlando - details / Tabs

Paddle Florida, Inc. is a non-profit organization that seeks to promote awareness of water conservation, wildlife preservation, springs restoration, and waterways protection in Florida.  To fulfill this mission, we stage annual multi-day paddling trips in each of Florida's five water management districts.  We seek to instill a 'water ethic' by showcasing Florida's vulnerable waterways.  We hope that those who attend our events will come away with a deeper appreciation of our natural resources.

Established in 2007, we hosted our first trip on the Suwannee River Wilderness Trail in March, 2008.  Since that time, we have expanded to host events on the (southern) Withlacoochee River, the Florida Keys, the Wekiva/St. Johns Rivers and the Panhandle's Ochlockonee River.  More information can be found by visiting the website at

Supported trip options on Saturday and Sunday offer paddlers the opportunity to explore the scenic Suwannee and Withlacoochee Rivers in segments ranging from 12 to 20 miles. The weekend will also feature kayak/canoe demos and an opportunity to hear from local experts dedicated to preserving North Florida’s rivers, springs, and watersheds.
