Paddle Florida, Inc. is a non-profit organization that promotes water conservation, wildlife preservation, springs restoration, and waterways protection in Florida. To fulfill this mission, we stage annual multi-day paddling/camping trips in each of Florida's five water management districts.  Through direct interaction with the state's waterways and educational speakers, our goal is having paddlers who attend our events come away with a deeper appreciation for Florida's natural resources. Established in 2007, Paddle Florida hosted its first trip on the Suwannee River Wilderness Trail in March 2008.  Since that time, we have expanded to host events on the Withlacoochee, Peace, Wekiva, St. Johns, and Ochlockonee Rivers, as well as the coastal waterways of the Florida Keys and the Great Calusa Blueway in southwest Florida.  More information can be found by visiting the website at

Suwannee River Paddling Festival

April 07, 2017 - April 09, 2017
North Florida’s Fifth Annual Suwannee River Paddling Festival will take place at Suwannee River State Park near Live Oak. Supported trip options on Saturday and Sunday offer paddlers the opportunity to explore the scenic Suwannee and Withlacoochee Rivers in segments ranging from 12 to 20 miles. Paddle Florida’s favorite entertainers will perform Saturday for a benefit concert to support regional springs and waterways protection. The weekend will also feature presentations from local experts dedicated to preserving North Florida’s rivers, springs, and watersheds.
