Description:

This WWII Museum honors the Amphibian Soldiers who trained in Franklin Country during WWII the 4th, 28th and 38th Divisions and the 3rd and 4th Special Brigades, as well as, other units. The city of Carrabelle and the Camp Gordon Johnston Association, a 501(c)3 corporation, also sponsors a weekend to honor all veterans. Held during the second weekend of March each year, festivities include a parade, reunion of veterans and a dinner dance.
