Ponte Vedra Beach resident and owner Greg Thompson has been involved in the restaurant industry for over 25 years. With a passion for cooking and a desire to create fresh and delicious dishes, Chef Thompson began operating his first restaurant and catering company in Jacksonville, Florida. For 15 years he operated a corporate dining facility, serving hundreds of customers and several surrounding corporate offices daily. In 2007 he opened Mangrove Island Grille with a unique menu featuring global flavors that were introduced to the New World via the Florida Keys. With an expanded repertoire of culinary treasures, Chef Thompson's catering clientele grew rapidly. Relocating his restaurant Ponte Vedra Beach in 2010, Chef Thompson is featuring another concept that will hopefully fill a need for freshly prepared, healthful and delicious dinners for people with busy schedules.
