Description:

The Village of the Arts is Florida's largest art community. It is a collection of Florida bungalows spread over an entire neighborhood.  A delightful area to walk around and enjoy. You can visit over thirty-five artists who have their homes, shops or studios there and invite visitors to see their creations and purchase locally produced art. In 2001 Joan Peters purchased her own bungalow and began much needed renovations, keeping most of the original features including the yellow southern pine floor. The Joan Peters Gallery opened its doors in 2002 and exhibits its owner's creations.  A native Parisian, Joan is an eclectic painter, she displays her colorful landscapes, oil paintings, prints, photos, note cards and creations.  You can stop, meet the artist and receive a complimentary map of the Village of the Arts.
