Recognized as one of the premier professional theatres in America and one of the largest in the southeastern United States, Asolo Rep proudly celebrates its 55th season this year. Asolo Rep presents world-class theatre designed and performed by some of the best theatre artists in the country. One of the few select theatres in the nation that produces performances in true rotating repertory, Asolo Rep’s highly-skilled acting company and extensive craftsmanship bring to life this unique performance method that often gives audiences the opportunity to see multiple productions in the span of a few days. Asolo Rep’s strong ties to its family of artists extend to Tony Award-winning directors, designers and actors from the theatre enclaves of New York, Chicago and London. Asolo Rep builds its own sets in its state-of-the-art Robert and Beverly Koski Production Center, a 45,000 square-foot facility that is the largest of its kind in the Southeastern United States. Asolo Rep’s scenic artists bring decades of hands-on expertise to shows not only produced in-house but for Broadway, the Sarasota Ballet, Sarasota Opera and regional theatres across the nation. Through its ambitious theatrical offerings and groundbreaking education and audience development programming, Asolo Rep is committed to expanding its reach into our community, furthering its collaboration with the best theatre artists working in the industry today and cultivating new artists of the American theatre through its affiliation with the FSU/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training.
