THE SAFARI LINE TRAIN
Take a nostalgic 15 minute narrated train ride on the zoo's classic CP Huntington style locomotive. Watch rhinoceros, deer, antelope, and zebras roam free on our 30 acre preserve. From the train visitors also get a close-up view of chimpanzees, gorillas, and our huge Nile hippos. Train rides are $3 and run hourly throughout the day.
NEW FREE FLIGHT AVIARY
Visit the Australian Free-Flight Budgiery, where hundreds of colorful parakeets fly around and eat "budgie treat sticks" while perched on your hand!
Hungry? Take a break and dine in while you visit your favorite animals. The zoo's new restaurant offers traditional favorites such as pizza, hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken tenders and children’s meals served with safari hats.
Don't miss trick-or-treating with your favorite animals during Boo at the Zoo held every year during the last two weekends in October. The zoo's festival of holiday lights, ZooLights, begins in November and goes through the beginning of January. Visit our website for more information.
