Aerospace Discovery at the Florida Air Museum has a new look. Interactive Displays for students of all ages are surrounded by history. Experience flight on simulators and learn more about propulsion. Explore the personal aviation collection of Howard Hughes, the Florida Aviation Hall of Fame, an A/F-18 Flight Simulator and a Boeing 727 donated in 2013 by FedEx that is becoming an interactive classroom. Join the Florida Air Museum for special year round activities and admission. Visit the SUN 'n FUN website and click on the Museum and Education tabs to find out about summer camps where teens can fly planes on the 4th day of a week-long experience. Make plans to camp on the grounds for the Youth Aerospace Weekend, Wings 'n Things held in October.

“Fly Into Summer” at Aerospace Discovery

The Aerospace Center for Excellence will host “Fly Into Summer” on Saturday, June 11, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Aerospace Discovery at the Florida Air Museum, located on the SUN ‘n FUN Expo Campus 4175 Medulla Rd., Lakeland, FL. This family friendly event includes free admission to Aerospace Discovery at the Florida Air Museum, the Official Aviation Museum of the state of Florida.
