Break out your lederhosen’s for the Flora-Bama’s Oktoberfest, because it's time to welcome the fall at our third annual Oktoberfest! Brats, sauerkraut, and a variety of German beer flow during this festival. German style musical acts perform while party goers chicken dance.
Children are welcome during this family friendly event.
The event is all day and night on October 3rd.
The festival is free and open to all ages during the day. After 6pm a modest cover will be charged for those 18 years and older.
The festival is dedicated to the late Frank Brown, who was night watchman at the Flora-Bama for 28 years, and whose moral values, integrity and strength of character still endure. During this festival, Grammy Award winning songwriters and the up and coming stars of tomorrow come into the spotlight to perform original songs in multiple locations in beautiful Perdido Key and Pensacola, Florida and Orange Beach and Gulf Shores, Alabama.
Festival attendees enjoy an up close and personal concert experience and are often able to learn the stories behind the songs as told by the original author. Venues of all kinds welcome the nearly 200 songwrit
rs that come from around the country and around the world. Whether you are looking for a "listening room" experience, a pleasant dinner and music venue, a family friendly musical adventure or a gritty roadhouse, FBISF has a place for you.
Most venues are free to attend; a few charge a modest cover at the door. The Southeast Tourism Society named the 2011 Frank Brown International Songwriters' Festival one of the top 20 events in the Southeast.

Activities, free sweets, hot chocolate, & juice will be available for the kids! But not too worry there are plenty of Bushwackers at the bar for those of age.
This special day is fun for everyone, especially Santa’s helpers who sing Christmas carols with the children.
