The Suncoast Arts Fest, Pasco Counties premiere arts festival is proud to be celebrating its 10th year of supporting education funding for the arts within Pasco County. The festival will be held January 17 and 18, 2015 in centrally located, quaint “small town” environment at The Shops at Wiregrass in Wesley Chapel, Florida. This upscale shopping venue is located just off of I-75 in the northern part of the Tampa Bay area. With a winding, cobblestone main street edged with trees the venue provides the perfect setting for art lovers to browse one of a kind creations.
For the past several years the festival has attracted upwards of 100,000 attendees during the two-day event. We continue to attract arts and craftsman from the Southeast region of the United States.
Visitors will be exposed to creations of 125 fine artists and craftsman including ceramics, watercolor, acrylics, oils, mixed media, drawings, graphics, fiber, photography, glass and jewelry to mention a few.
In addition, the event includes live performances and entertainment by regional and local youth, sidewalk chalk art where the sidewalks come alive, a kids art garden, which is an interactive youth arts area were youngsters creativity is discovered. An emerging artist area where school aged youths exhibit their art. A 1 mile family fun run for the arts followed by a pancake breakfast. The opportunity to explore A photo contest utilizing smartphones where attendees have the opportunity to explore their creative side.
To mark our 10th year the Suncoast Arts Fest has invited internationally known glass artist, Duncan McClellan to bring his mobile glass etching unit that allows attendees to create a design and have it etched in glass.
